Quarantine & Books πŸ“š

Hello everyone,

I hope that many of you are now at the end of the quarantine period or almost over. Anyway, if you turn back and looking to this past time period, what are you thinking about it..? πŸ€”
I know, this was a very difficult time for everyone, because COVID-19 was able to impact on our daily lives highly. Changing our daily routines, we had to stick in our homes. But, I think in most of the things, there are two sides, good side and bad side. Quarantine period is just like a hidden blessing that came with evil. In fact, if think in deeply, I think we were getting closer to our real lives during this period, despite the massive impact to the world economy and lost many human lives.

It is just like a given rest time for all of us, who always chasing money in a competitive world.
Who we really are..?
Where is our happiness..? With whom..? πŸ’•
What do we really crave..?

If look back to this past period, you and me able to see the answers to many of these questions. We were became closer to our loved ones than ever before. We were able to stay home and spend time with them. In the meantime, we took out the hobbies that had been hidden aside in heart because always had a lack of time.

So, one of the things that I notices during this period, was that a lot of people were more inclined to read books. For book worms, who regularly read books this has ever been a better opportunity to fill their bookshelf with more books. Also, those who like to read books, but are saddened by the lack of time due to their busy schedule, were able to read books during this time. There is also another group that needs attention. They are the ones who had no desire to read a book in life, but have started by seeing others reading books. The rest are people who have no desire for books, no matter what anyone says about books.
So, which of these four categories of people do you belong to.? 🧐
What is the gap between you and the books..?
I belong to this second person category. Although I have been reading books since I was a child, over time, due to the busy schedule at the job, there has been a distance between me and books. My reading was limited, and the number of books to be read increased. But the love of books has not changed. So, this quarantine period was a great opportunity for me to get back into my hobby of reading books. It is so wonderful that this is why the Gaya’s Bookshelf that you are reading this article at this moment, started. I see the launch of this blog as a very special event in my life. πŸ“šβ€οΈοΈ
